Gary has been training in gyms for twenty years, mainly in contact sports such as boxing, kick boxing and chinese boxing.  About five years ago he decided to turn his passion into a profession and became a personal trainer after completing the necessary qualifications. He has worked as a freelance fitness trainer ever since, starting up his one-2-one fitness business and has intensive knowledge of all aspects of fitness training.

Gary is a professional gym instructor and chinese boxing instructor and is fully qualified to teach circuit training, core stability, power walking, and advise on nutrition and exercise.  Gary has also gained the A.B.A Coach Award and is a qualified first aider.  He is a member of REPs (Register of Exercise Professionals) and is fully insured.  On a personal level, he has run five marathons.

All clients have to undergo a free assessment consultation.  This enables Gary to ascertain your medical history, previous fitness history, any relevant family health history and current levels of fitness. 

It is important that Gary also establishes your wants and needs, aims and goals and likes and dislikes. By getting to know you, Gary can design the best possible exercise programme for you.
